I am so happy, I went to Walmart and found some great deals. Things I purchased:
-Simplicity 2603
-E6000 glue
-boning
-interfacing
-needles
-stick pins
-thread
Word of warning about that "boning" - it molds from just body heat and will collapse after about 3 wearings ... ask how I know! I just don't have the heart to throw out my examples ...
Thanks so much for the tip. I have alway had this problem with boning and could never find the answer on the internet.All this time I thought I was sewing it wrong.
