Lately my sister is interested in learning how to sew. I have been teaching her how to sew simple projects. So far I had taught her how to sew a pillow and these wonderful pajamas. She was so proud of herself for making these pajamas that when we went on our summer vacation, she wore them every night to sleep in. The pattern was super easy and I was surprised on how quick she caught on. At the end of the day she was telling me how the pattern should be sewn. I enjoyed teaching her this hobby at a young age.
It's great that your little sister is learning to sew! My little sister has a machine and lives in the same city as my mom, who would happily teach her ... yet my sis has a request list for me to sew for her! In retrospect, I really wish I had kept at the sewing idea back in my early teens.
